Pastoral Care Counseling
Range up to $150 - case specific

Our spiritual life is deeply impacted by our thoughts and emotions and life experiences. Inaccurate and or distorted ways of understanding our identity, calling or the nature of God can lead to burnout, over functioning or unhealthy coping strategies. In a safe and confidential space, pastors and leaders can tend to their own soul in the midst of shepherding others.
Fees may be covered by churches or sponsoring organizations and can be reduced on a case by case basis.
Consulting and Supervision
​Fee is dependent upon scope and can be structured on an hourly ($175) or project basis
​
Matina is available for individuals or organizations to consult with in the areas of mental health and residential life- programming, policy development and psycho-education.
​
She is an Approved Clinical Supervisor in WA though is not currently taking on supervisees.

The practice of clinical social work is when the client is engaging in a therapeutic process that involves treatment of psychopathology, diagnosing mental disorders and/or using specific therapeutic techniques to address mental health and familial concerns that arise from a biospsychosocial assessment. Typical treatment modalities include attachment and psychodynamic theory.

Pastoral Counseling
Pastoral counseling is when a client is looking to address issues that are connected to their spiritual life including: relational hurts, grief/loss, major life changes, faith integration, conflict resolution, processing traumatic life events and familial challenges, identity work. Using a narrative approach and a scriptural basis, pastoral counseling focuses on the understanding of God, ourselves and the world around us.
Those who are receiving services that are classified as pastoral counseling understand that should more in-depth services be required, a referral will be made to a local psychotherapist and/or medical provider.
